The Ultimate Bike Bottle
CamelBak wanted to completely redesign its successful Podium bike bottle, but how could such a popular product be improved?
We tackled the hardest aspect first: Making the cap easier to clean, and harder to get dirty in the first place. That was solved by creating a silicone cap to seal the underside of the drink mechanism, which was a complex feat of injection molding tooling and design.
Improved ergonomics for the bottles and the rotating locking mechanism make the product easier to use when moving quickly and staying focused on the road and trail ahead. Security and clean water make for a winning combination.
